Affidavit Renzo Ferrante [USADA vs Lance Armstrong October 10, 2012] September 27, 2012
Mr. Renzo Ferrante is a member of the Italian Carabinieri NAS law enforcement agency. Mr. Ferrante stated to USADA that in the course of their investigation of Dr. Ferrari they have obtained bank records relating to payments made by athletes and others to Dr. Ferrari and his son Stefano Ferrari. Also they have obtained electronic mails between athletes and athletes support personnel, including Lance Armstrong, Johan Bruyneel and others to Dr. Ferrari and to entities controlled by Dr. Ferrari and his son Stefano Ferrari.
In addition they have obtained evidence and witness statements provided by professional cyclist against Dr. Ferrari.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has been admitted by the Italian prosecutor and has been given access to the casefile in order to review and obtain documents and information related to Dr. Ferrari, including his clients and relatives, and others involved in potential violation of sport antidoping rules.
