During a contest on November 27, 2004, respondent didn't attend the doping control.

History
The respondent was summoned to attend the doping control but he refused. He has failed to submit written comments on the board and appear before it; the explanations provided in a letter to the president of the federation are not such as to mitigate the seriousness of the facts.

The French Athletics Federation (Fédération Française d'athlétisme, FFA) charges respondent M15 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During an athletics event on September 26, 2004, respondent was asked to provide a doping sample. Analysis of the sample showed the presence of betamethasone which is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.

History
Respondent had an injection with an unknown substance one week before the doping control. This injection is the probable cause of the positive test. He has no justification for the use of it.

FINA 2014 FINA vs Johndry Segovia Ramos

In November 2012 the International Swimming Federation (FINA) has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Swimmer Johndry Segovia Ramos after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance methylhexaneamine (dimethylpentylamine).

After a delay in the proceedings the FINA Doping Panel decides on 10 October 2014 to impose a 6 month period of ineligibility on the Swimmer, back-dated starting on 3 November 2012 until on 3 May 2013.

All competitive results achieved by the Swimmer on or after 3 November 2012 and through and including the date of 3 May 2013 shall be annulled together with the consequences thereof (forfeiture of medals/prizes, reimbursement of prize-money).

CPLD 2005 FFSG vs Respondent M14

Facts
The French Federation of Ice Sports (Fédération Française des Sports de Glace, FFSG) charges respondent M14 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a match on September 25, 2004, a sample was taken for doping test purposes. The analysis of the sample showed the presence of a metabolite of cannabis. Cannabis is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.

History
Respondent acknowledges the use of cannabis.

FINA 2014 FINA vs Yulia Efimova (2)

On 12 May 2014 the FINA Doping Panel decided to impose a 16 months period of ineligibility on the Russian Athlete Yulia Efimova after her sample tested positive for the prohibited substance 7-keto-DHEA.
In addition, all results obtained by the Athlete on or after 31 October 2013 and through and including the date of the decision were disqualified. Any medals, points and prizes which had been achieved during that period were forfeited.

Hereafter on 17 September 2014, the FINA Doping Panel
notified the President of the Russian Swimming Federation that the decision against Ms Efimova could have an effect on the results and medals obtained by the relay teams in which she participated consequently to the date of 31 October 2013.

On 3 November 2014 the FINA Doping Panel decides, due to the Athlete was sentenced and disqualified, that it is not possible to maintain the results obtained for the remaining Russian athletes:

1.) Any medal, points, prizes or records achieved by the mixed
4x50m Russian Medley Team (Yuliya Efimova, Vladimir Morozov,
Viacheslav Prudnikov, Elizaveta Bazarova), who competed on 5
November 2013 in the FINA Swimming World Cup in Singapore is
forfeited.

2.) Any medal, points, prizes or records achieved by the mixed
4x50m Russian Medley Team, (Yuliya Efimova, Vladimir Morozov,
Viacheslav Prudnikov, Elizaveta Bazarova), who competed on 9
November 2013 in the FINA Swimming World Cup in Tokyo, Japan is
forfeited.

3.) Any medal, points, prizes or records achieved by the mixed
4x50m Russian Medley Team (Yuliya Efimova, Vitaly Melnikov, Svetlana Chimrova, Vladimir Morozov), who competed in the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships relay race held on 13 December 2013 is forfeited.

4.) Any medal, points, prizes or records achieved by the 4x50m Russian Women's Medley Team (Yuliya Efimova, Daria Ustinova, Svetlana Chimrova, Rozaliya Nasretdinova), who competed in the LEN European Short Course Swimming Championships relay race held on 15 December 2013 is forfeited.

FISA 2014 FISA vs Yana Suzdaltseva

In June 2014 RUSADA has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete Yana Suzdaltseva after het sample tested positive for the prohibited substance metandienone.
After notification the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Aviron (FISA), the World Rowing Federation, ordered a provisional suspension. The Athlete waived her right to be heard for the FISA Doping Hearing Panel and submitted the FISA questionnaire without a further statement in her defence.

The Athlete submitted that she had used non-prescribed clenbuterol, purchased in a drug store, as treatment for her bronchitis in May 2014.
The FISA Panel did not accept the Athlete’s explanation, due to she was tested positive for the substance metandienone, not for clenbuterol. Therefore the FISA Doping Hearing Panel decides on 30 September 2014 to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete, starting on the date of the provisional suspension, i.e. on 30 September 2014.

CPLD 2005 FFCK vs Respondent M13

The French Kanoe and Kayak Federation Federation (Française de Canoë-Kayak, FFCK) charges respondent M13 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a Kanoe-Kayak event on July 23, 2004, respondent provided a sample for doping test purposes. Analysis of the samples showed the presence of salbutamol which is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.

History
The respondent claims that the positive test was caused by a pharmaceutical product he used to treat asthma. He has two medical certificates and a medical examination report to prove his medical condition.
The panel regards this medication as justifiable.
