The Royal Dutch Billiards Union (Koninklijke Nederlandse Biljart Bond KNBB) has reported an anti doping rule violation against this person after he tested positive for the prohibited substance benzoylecgonine (a metabolite of cocaine).
Person filed several statements and objections in his defence and was heard for the Committee. Person made futile objections about the provisional suspension and the credibility regarding the anti-doping test, the KNBB, the Disciplinary Committee and the Doping Authority (DA). Person requested testing of the B-sample but failed to attend when the testing was scheduled, therefore DA cancelled testing the B-sample.

In this Preliminary Decision the Disciplinary Committee dismiss person’s objections. The committee concludes that DA had to continue testing of the B-sample. Person's absence can’t be interpreted that person gave up his right for testing the B-sample.

During an in competition doping test, the A-sample was tested positive on cannabis, which is a violation of the Anti-Doping Code. The defendant was at the oral hearing of the disciplinary committee of the Dutch Ice Hockey Federation (Nederlandse IJshockey Bond, NIJB) is dated May 30, 2007.
Cannabis is not regarded as a problem in the Dutch context, but the Ice Hockey Sport has an international dimension, Dutch standards are not suitable in this case. Although the substance wasn’t used to enhance sport performance the award is a two-year period of ineligibility till December 1, 2007.

KNHB 2011 KNHB Decision Disciplinary Committee 2011015 T

The Dutch National Hockey Association (Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond, KNHB) has reported an anti doping rule violation against this person after he tested positive for the prohibited substance carboxy-THC (a metabolite of cannabis).
Person was heard for the Committee and stated, supported by witnesses, he had used a joint at a party twee days prior to competition and had no intention to enhance his performance.
The Disciplinary Committee concludes that person violated the anti-doping rules and, considering exceptional circumstances, decides for ineligibility for 12 weeks.

KNHB 2007 KNHB Decision Appeal Committee 2007011 B

Claimant appeals against the decision of the Disciplinary Committee off the Royal Dutch Hockey League (Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond, KNHB) of March 30, 2007.
He was sentenced with a warning, a reprimand and a period of ineligibility of one month for the use of cannabis.
The appeal committee concludes that due to regulations in the statues of KNHB the disciplinary committee of the KNHB is not qualified to impose a penalty.
This decision on May 24, 2007, cancels the decision of March 30, 2007, the awards will be redrawn.

The Dutch Rugby Union (Nederlandse Rugby Bond, NRB) has reported an anti doping rule violation against this person after he tested positive for the prohibited substance 4-methyl-2-hexaneamine (methylhexaneamine). Person filed a statement in his defence and was heard for the Committee.

Person stated he acted cautious with supplements and made inquiries about the ingredients in the supplement he used. He also consulted a NRB trainer, an expert in supplements, who confirmed that the supplement contained no prohibited ingredients.
Considering exceptional circumstances the Disciplinary Committee decides to reprimand the person.
Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by NRB.

NIJB 2006 NIJB Decision Disciplinary Committee 2007008 T

The Dutch Ice Hockey Federation (NIJB) has reported defendant for a Anti-Doping Code violation, in his samples taken on January 27, 2007, and February 15, 2007, were traces of Finasteride. Finasteride is a prohibited substance.
The defendant claims to use a medicine for treatment and provides explanations about this. However he failed to ask for dispensation for the use of this medicine, which is a masking agent. Also there was an earlier incident in 2003 for the use of ephedrine.
The sanction will be a period of ineligibility of 2 years.

Person appealed against the decision for ineligibility for 2 years, dated June 29, 2011, by the Dutch Handball League (Nederlands Handbal Bond, NHB) Disciplinary Committee.
Person stated to the Disciplinary Committee how the prohibited substance entered his body. Person did inquire about the supplement but the label didn’t mention the substance methylhexaneamine (dimethylpentylamine) as ingredient.
The Appeal Committee considers the person negligence but he didn’t know the supplement contained a prohibited stimulant ingredient, therefore person had no intention to enhance his performance.
The Appeal Committee confirmded the decision of 29 June 2011, but reduces the period of ineligibility to 4 months, because of exceptional circumstances.
Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by person and NHV.

NRB 2006 NRB Decision Disciplinary Committee 2006126 T

The Dutch Rugby (NRB) League reports a violation of the Anti-Doping Code, a doping test revealed the prohibited substance carboxy-THC.
The oral hearing was on April 12, 2006, the defendant also attended the hearing.
The Disciplinary Committee is qualified to handle the case.
The defendant didn't ask for a B-sample analyses which makes the A-sample officially declared positive
In his written defence and orally at the hearing the defendant declared that het didn't knew that cannabis was a prohibited substance. The NRB and his association never gave any information on this issue. He also didn't use this substance to enhance his performance in sport.
The Disciplinary Committee is qualified to handle the case.

An appeal can be made within 21 day at the CAS.
The Disciplinary Committee agrees although Cannabis is on the list of prohibited substances it was not used to enhance the performance in sport. Also the NRB and the association made errors in the information supply.
Cannabis is a prohibited substance for that reason the award will be a warning and a reprimand. If the defendant ever is tested again positive for this substance the period of ineligibility will be 2 years.

The Dutch Handball League (Nederlands Handbal Bond, NHB) has reported an anti doping rule violation against this person after he tested positive for the prohibited substance methylhexaneamine (dimethylpentylamine).
The NHB notified the person of the doping violation and ordered a provisional suspension. Person filed a statement in his defence and was heard for the Committee.
Person stated it used a contaminated supplement as stimulant for training and didn’t know the supplement contained a prohibited substance. Person didn’t inquire about the ingredients in the supplement nor did it make inquiries for relevant information.
The committee concluded that person violated the anti-doping rules and decided for ineligibility for 2 years.
Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by person and NHV.
