FIBA 2011 FIBA vs Anthony Gordon Younger

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Player after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance THC (cannabis).
The FIBA notified the Player and ordered a provisional suspension.
The Player was heard for the Panel and stated he had smoked cannabis a week before the doping control, had no intention to enhance his performance and expressed his regret for the violation committed.
The FIBA Disciplinary Panel decides a 3 month period of ineligibility starting on the day of the provisional suspension, i.e. on 1 February 2011.
