Facts
The Irish Sports Council (ISC) has reported an Anti-Doping Rule Violation against the Athlete IS-1526 (the Athlete) after his A and B samples tested positive for the prohibited substance stanozolol.

History
The Athlete admitted the violation and stated that he had purchased supplements from the United States including “fat burners” which mentioned that stanozolol “mainly burns fat”. He asserted that this product was the source of the positive test result.

Decision
A 2 year period of ineligibility is imposed on the Athlete starting on the date of the provisional suspension.
