Facts
The Irish Sports Council (ISC) has reported an Anti-Doping Rule violation against the Athlete IS-1528 (the Athlete) after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis.

History
The Athlete admitted that he had used several times cannabis in a social context before, but unconnected with, his sporting activities and without intention to enhance his performance.

Decision
A 1 year period of ineligibility is imposed on the Athlete starting on the date of the provisional suspension.
