The Irish Sports Council (ISC) has reported an Anti-Doping Rule Violation against the Athlete IS-1530 after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis in a concentration above the WADA threshold.
History
The Athlete admitted that he had smoked cannabis at a party two days before the competition and without intention to enhance his performance. The Athlete argued that previously had no plans to participate and he only entered the competition after an off-the-cuff decision.
Decision
The Panel accepted the Athlete's statement and decides only to reprimand the Athlete.
