ISADDP 2012 AI Disciplinary Decision 20121532

Facts
The Irish Sports Council (ISC) has reported an Anti-Doping Rule Violation against the Athlete IS-1532 (the Athlete) after his sample, collected in the United States, tested positive for the prohibited substance Erythropoietin (EPO).

The Athlete prompt admitted the violation and stated that he had purchased the substance on the internet and administrated the day before he was tested.

Decision
The Panel decides to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete starting on the date of the sample collection.
