AFLD 2012 FFTT vs Respondent M10

Facts
The French Table Tennis Federation (Fédération Française de Tennis de Table, FFTT) charges respondent M10 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Code. During the "criterium federal de la ligue de Martinique de tennis de table" on May 21, 2011, a sample was taken for doping test purposes. The sample highlighted the presence of prednisone and prednisolone. Prednisone and prednisolone are prohibited substances according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list and are regarded as specified substances.

History
The cause of the positive test is a medicine the respondent used against flu symptons for which a documented medical reason is presented.

Decision
1. The decision of the disciplinary committee of the FFTT, dated October 20, 2011, is cancelled.
2. The respondent is acquitted.
3. The decision will be published and sent to the parties involved.
