AFLD 2012 FFA vs Respondent M18

Facts
The Fédération Française d'Athlétisme (FFA) - French Athletics Federation charges respondent M18 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a athletics event, on July 2, 2011, a sample was taken for doping test purposes. The analysis of the sample showed the substance tuaminoheptane. This substance is prohibited according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.

History
The claims that the positive result was caused by medication to treat a cold, there is no prescription of this but it was declared on the filling form of the doping control.

Decision
1. The sanction is a period of ineligibility of 1 month in which respondent can't take part in competition or manifestations organized by the FFA.
2. The decision (a warning), dated September 29, 2011, of the disciplinary committee of the FFA will be modified.
3. The decision starts on the date of notification.
4. The decision will be published and sent to the parties involved.
