Facts
The French National Police Sport Federation (Fédération Sportive de la Police Nationale, FSPN) charges respondent M84 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a judo tournament, on October 22, 2010, a sample was taken for doping test purposes. The sample tested positive on a metabolite of cannabis. Cannabis is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list and is regarded as a specified substance.
History
The respondent had used the prohibited substance three weeks before the doping test. The reason for this was because she went through to a personal difficult time. There was no intention to enhance her sport performance.
Decision
1. The sanction is a period of ineligibility of six months in which respondent can't take part in competition or manifestation organized or authorized by the FSPN and the French Federation for Judo, Jujitsu, Kendo and Associated Disciplines.
2. The period of ineligibility will be reduced by the period already served by the decision (two months period of ineligibility) dated February 21, 2011, by the disciplinary committee of the FSPN.
3. The decision dated February 21, 2011, by the disciplinary committee of the FSPN should be modified.
4. The decision starts on the date of notification.
5. The decision will be published and sent to the parties involved.
