AFLD 2014 FFB vs Respondent M27

Facts
The French Federation of Billiards (Fédération Française de Billard, FFB) charges respondent M27 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a contest on June 30, 2013, a sample was taken for doping control purposes. Analysis of the sample showed the prensence of propranolol which is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.

History
The respondent used a pharmaceutical product containing propranolol, he uses it to treat the symptoms of migraine. He was ignorant of the fact that it contained a prohibited substance. His earlier prescriptions mentioned medication which has no prohibited substances.

Decision
1. A warning is given to the respondent.
2. The decision dated October 23, 2013, by the disciplinary committee in first instance of the FFB is cancelled
3. All the results obtained June 30, 2013, are cancelled. Medals, points and prizes are withdrawn.
4. The decision will be published and sent to the parties involved.
