ANAD Comisia de Audiere 2009_29 ANAD vs David Montaire Lawrence

In November 2009 the Agenţia Naţională Anti-Doping (ANAD), the National Anti-Doping Agency of Romania, has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete David Montaire Lawrence after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis.

The Athlete admitted the violation and didn’t request the B sample analysis. He stated he smoked cannabis in a club and without intention to enhance his sport performance.

Considering this is the Athlete’s firs violation the ANAD Hearing Commission decides on 10 December 2009 to impose a 1 month period of ineligibility on the Athlete, starting on the date of the decision.
