The French Kanoe and Kayak Federation Federation (Française de Canoë-Kayak, FFCK) charges respondent M13 for a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During a Kanoe-Kayak event on July 23, 2004, respondent provided a sample for doping test purposes. Analysis of the samples showed the presence of salbutamol which is a prohibited substance according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.
History
The respondent claims that the positive test was caused by a pharmaceutical product he used to treat asthma. He has two medical certificates and a medical examination report to prove his medical condition.
The panel regards this medication as justifiable.
