ANAD 2015_02 ANAD vs Andra Maria Lungu

In June 2015 the Agenţia Naţională Anti-Doping (ANAD), the National Anti-Doping Agency of Romania, has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete Andra Maria Lungu after her sample tested positive for the prohibited substance furosemide.

After notification the Athlete failed to attend the ANAD hearing nor did she file a statement in her defence. Therefore ANAD decides to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete starting on the date of the decision, i.e. on 15 June 2015.
