In January 2016 the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health in Sport (Agencia Española de Protección de la Salud en el Deporte, AEPSAD) has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the respondent E50 after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substances cocaine and cannabis.
After notification the respondent filed a statement with objections in his defence. The respondent disputed several irregularities in the sample collection, the chain of custody, the laboratory and the analysis of the sample. Also the respondent requested to receive all the relevant documentation about the performed procedures in this case.
AEPSAD finds that the respondent failed in his responsibility that no prohibited substances enter his body; dismiss the respondent’s objections; and concludes that the sample collection, transport en analysis were performed in accordance with the Rules.
Considering aggravating circumstances due to the respondent tested positive for cocaine and cannabis AEPSAD decides on 18 March 2016 to impose a 4 year period of ineligibililty on the respondent starting on the date of the decision.
