AFLD 2015 FFKMDA vs Respondent M48

On 14 March 2015 la Fédération française de Kick Boxing, Muay Thaï et Disciplines Associées (FFKMDA) - the French Federation for Kick Boxing, Muay Thai and Associated Disciplines - decided to impose a 1 year period of ineligibility on the Respondent M48 after his sample tested positive in January 2015 for the prohibited substances tamoxifen and stanozolol.

Hereafter in May 2015 the French Anti-Doping Agency (AFLD) opened disciplinary proceedings against Respondent M48.
The Respondent denied the intentional use of the substances and stated that he had used a nutritional supplement purchased on the internet without intention to enhance his performance.

The AFLD finds that the Respondent filed no evidence in his defence and concludes that he acted at fault with his supplement. Therefore the AFLD decides on 8 October 2015 to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Respondent starting on de date of the provisional suspension, i.e. on 3 February 2015.
