In July 2018 NADO Flanders has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substances 1-Testosterone, Androstenedione, Clenbuterol, Metenolone, Oxandrolone, Stanozolol and Trenbolone including class S4 prohibited substances.
After notification a provisional suspension was ordered and the Athlete was heard for the NADO Flanders Disciplinary Commission where he admitted the purchase and use of the substances for fitness.
The Disciplinary Commission finds that the presence of the prohibited substances had been established in the Athlete’s sample and accordingly that he committed the admitted anti-doping rule violation.
The Commission holds that previously in July 2010 the Athlete was sanctioned for committing an anti-doping rule violation and as a result he now has committed a second anti-doping rule violation.
Therefore the NADO Flanders Disciplinary Commission decides on 2 October 2018 to impose a fine and a 8 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete starting on the date of the provisional suspension, i.e. on 5 July 2018.
Fees and expenses for this Commission shall be borne partially by the Athlete.
