In November 2012 the Netherlands Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation (NWWB) has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete after his A and B samples tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis. After notification the Athlete failed to attend the hearing of the NWWB Disciplinary Committee, nor did he file a statement in his defence.
Therefore the NWWB Disciplinary Committee decides to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete, starting on the date of the decision, i.e. 4 March 2013.
Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by the Athlete.
