ISR 2013 KNBB Decision Disciplinary Committee 2012076 T

In January 2013 the Royal Dutch Billiards Federation (KNBB) has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis.
After notification the Athlete filed a statement in his defence and was heard for the KNBB Disciplinary Committee. The Athlete admitted he used cannabis the evening prior to the competition. He stated that he was just recently member of the KNBB and was not informed about the anti-doping rules.

Considering the circumstances in this case, the KNBB Disciplinary Committee decides to impose a reprimand on the Athlete. Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by the Athlete.
