ISR 2013 KNKF Decision Revision Committee 2012005 H

On 18 July 2012 the Royal Netherlands Power Sport and Fitness Federation (KNKF) Disciplinary Committee decided to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis. The Athlete failed to attend the hearing of the KNKF Disciplinary Committee nor did he file a statement in his defence.

Due to the increased WADA threshold for cannabis since May 2013, the Athlete appealed the KNKF decision of 18 July 2012 and requested a revision of the imposed sanction.
Therefore on 13 June 2013 the KNKF Revision Committee decides to annul the imposed period of ineligibility immediately, i.e. on 13 June 2013.
Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by the Athlete.
