Facts
The French Athletics Federation (Fédération Française d'Athlétisme, FFA) charges respondent M119 or a violation of the Anti-Doping Rules. During an athletics event on June 17, 2012, a sample for doping test purposes was taken. The analysis of the sample showed the presence of erythropoietin. Erythropoietin is a prohibited substances according the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list.
History
The respondent denies the use of erythropoietin. However there were two earlier violations of the Anti-Doping rules: a decision of October 13, 2006, Adverse Analytical Finding metabolite of nandrolone and finasteride; and a decision of January 25, 2007, Adverse Analytical Finding metabolite of nandrolone.
Decision.
1. The sanction is a period of ineligibility of ten years in which respondent can't take part in competition or manifestations organized or authorized by French sport federations.
2. A fine, of 2500 euro, is settled.
3. The period of ineligibility will be reduced by the period already served in provisional suspension.
4. All results obtained in the athletics event of June 17, 2012, will be cancelled. Medals, points and prizes are withdrawn.
5. The decision will start on the date of notification.
6. The decision will be published and sent to the parties involved.
