ISR 2016 NRB Decision Disciplinary Committee 2016001 T

In February 2016 the Nederlandse Rugby Bond (NRB), the Dutch Rugby Union, has reported an anti-doping rule violation against the Athlete after his sample tested positive for the prohibited substance cannabis with a high concentration above the WADA threshold.

Because the foreign Athlete already had left the country several attempts were made to contact him in his own country. Because the Athlete failed to respond the ISR-NRB Disciplinary Committee decides on 12 April 2016 to impose a 2 year period of ineligibility on the Athlete. Fees and expenses for this committee shall be borne by the Athlete.
